The Tags application helps make Itential Automation Platform (IAP) workflows, forms, and other items search enabled.

Accessing the Application

  1. Click the Settings button in the top navbar. Settings Button
  2. Select Tags. The main screen displays.

Tags View

Create a New Tag

From the Create Tag card:

  1. Enter a tag name and brief description (required).

  2. Click Create. The tag is generated and will be added to a list of tags.

Tag Details

Once a tag is created, the user can select a tag from the list to view details and make updates, as needed.

Hover over the tag name and the option to edit Edit Button, copy Copy Button, or delete Delete Button the tag is enabled.

Usage

Currently, you can add tags to the following collections.

Collection Description
Workflows Use the edit page of a Workflow to add a tag.
MOP For both Analytic and Command Templates, use the edit page for a template.
Golden Config Use the edit page for a golden config.
Forms Use the edit page of a form.

Adding Tags to Collections

Workflow Builder

  1. Create a new Workflow, and save. Alternatively, you can edit an existing Workflow.
  2. Click the cog icon.
  3. Search for the tags that were created.
  4. Add the tag as you would groups to a workflow.
  5. Update the Workflow.

MOP

  1. Create a new Template, and save. Alternatively, you can edit an existing Template.
  2. Click the cog icon.
  3. Search for the tags that were created.
  4. Add to the input as chips.
  5. Update the Template.

Golden Config

  1. Create a new Golden Config, and save. Alternatively, you can edit an existing Golden Config.
  2. Click the cog icon.
  3. Search for the tags that were created.
  4. Add them to the input as chips.
  5. Update the Golden Config.

Form Builder

  1. Create a new Form, and save. Alternatively, you can edit an existing Form.
  2. Click the cog icon.
  3. Search for the tags.
  4. Add them to the input as chips.
  5. Update the Form.
